"She was such a great person and so full of life," ex-girlfriend says of slain Pulse bouncer.
Kimberly "KJ" Morris, 37, was a bouncer at Pulse. She used to perform at the Diva’s Club in Northampton, MA. She moved to Florida only a few months ago to help her mother and grandmother.
"She was so excited. She'd just started working there and told me how she was thrilled to get more involved in the LGBT community there," said ex-girlfriend Starr Shelton.
She was an active person who loved playing basketball and MMA fighting.
"I just remember after every single game she would give me a fist bump and tell me 'Good game,'" said Narvell Benning, 38. "It didn't matter how bad of a game it was, she was always there."
